JOB & ITS MISSIONS:
Integrated within the R&D team, in charge of the design of new offers, you participate in the firwmare software development of our electronic products for IoT (Internet Of Things) applications intended for professional uses, typically in industry and defense.
The position is scalable within a growing company.
As such, your missions will be as follows:
– Drafting of specifications and technical and functional specifications,
– Design and development in C ++ on microcontrollers (full object software architecture).
– Design, develop and execute test protocols,
– Drafting of technical documents (in English and French).
– The generation of official versions
– Compliance with the development schedule according to the product roadmap,
– Compliance with software quality objectives
DESIRED PROFILE:
Trained as a systems engineer / embedded software / electronics engineer, you have at least 5 years of experience in the field of on-board development for electronic boards integrating radio functions.
You have an excellent mastery of software development and industrialization methods for electronic products based on C ++ language on microcontrollers and real-time OS, including on lower software layers, close to the hardware (driver).
During your various experiences, you have acquired a solid culture around the architecture, design and industrialization of such products.
Your rigor, your sense of contact and your responsiveness will allow you to be immediately operational in these functions.
Knowledges & expertises:
• Low layer driver development (protocol, piloting of new electronic components).
• Application development (95% C ++)
• Significant experience / knowledge in a real-time environment (FreeRTOS)
• Signal processing
• Microcontroller programming
• Quality Software development
• The development of radio protocol is a plus

You are the technical leader in charge of the software architecture in a team that works in Agile methodology. Within the R&D team, you will work alongside a product owner to carry out your missions, namely:
• Contribute to functional development and software design.
• Evaluate the development costs with the team.
• Plan developments (JAVA) according to the product and project roadmap.
• Provide technical support to developers
• Participate in developments.

JOB & ITS MISSIONS:
Within the company, you will work with the Professional Services team which carries out the project activities for the deployment of our IoT solutions at the client’s premises (project set-up and technical specification, planning / budget management and client relationship management).
The Professional Services team also ensures the maintenance in operational conditions of all the deployments carried out.
Reporting to the manager of the Professional Services department, you are in charge of a portfolio of deployment projects for our clients: planning management, customer relationship management, technical deployment activities (installation / configuration of the hardware and software solution in the back office and on site) until commissioning, final acceptance and training.
The customer project manager engineer is the main contact for customers during the order execution phase: he has both functional mastery of products and operational processes in the field of flow management / traceability (industrial management, lean) and customer relations. He is the guarantor of the quality of customer service provided by EDITAG.
Given the location of our customers, the position involves frequent trips to France and Europe.
Your main missions are:
• You frame the technical expectations with the customer, ensure the implementation of the solution, validate the installation schedule in advance. You must coordinate internally the actions between R&D, production and logistics to be operational on D-day. You must take charge, failing which coordinate, all the technical activities necessary for the deployment of the solution: qualification, installation, software configuration / equipment in back-office and on customer site.
• In deploying the solution: you work with the client’s teams to ensure the software installation and configuration of the solution. You train the customer and answer his questions to optimize the appropriation of the solution
• In after-sales support: you provide the first level of support to ensure operational post-start-up support and provide solutions to the customer with analysis and understanding of problems on critical systems. You will interface with the design office (R&D), the sales department, any suppliers / service providers, customers / users.

DESIRED PROFILE:
Higher education such as a general engineering school or specialized in IT / electronics / telecommunications. You have proven experience and a real attraction for the industry in general, managing customer projects for innovative solutions (soft and hard). The fact of having worked in an industrial or retail context is a plus, as is knowledge of IoT / RFID environments.
Customer relationship experience is essential.
